Museums
House of Frankenstein Wax Museum: This wax museum presents realistic wax figures that portray gruesome characters such as Frankensteins monster, and others of that ilk.
Fort William Henry Museum: This restored 1755 fort from the French-Indian War offers visitors a chance to glance back into this earlier period of history.

The Elvis Festival In Lake George, NY (May 28 - 31): The King of Rock and Roll will make his presence known in the NY Lake George area on May 28, 2009. This four day event was started in 2004 and has increasingly grown too many all over the country. The festival's founders worked on this to create a world class event respectful to everything that Elvis stood for. Since the festival's beginning, it has continued to grow, and is now the second largest Elvis tribute competition in the world. The festival attracts competitors and audiences from across the world. The festival features a three day competition with over fifty qualified professional and non-professional competitors. There is also a youth division for the young competitors in mind. There is a free opening ceremony on the shore of Lake George. There are many events scheduled for this magnificent tribute to Elvis. Just to name a few there will be a free Sunday morning gospel concert along with two Las Vegas style shows.
The Americade In Lake George, NY (June 1 - 6): The Americade has made its presence in the Lake George region since 1983. It is the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring convention. The Americade is known to draw over 50,000 riders and passengers each year for a week of multiple events. The 2009 Americade in Lake George New York offers motorcycle fanatics a wealth of exciting events and activities. If you love motorcycles and riding this is an event that will knock you off your seats. There are hundreds of activities, including stunt shows, scavenger hunts, boat cruises, block parties and many other amazing activities scheduled for the week of the Americade. The Americade will feature not only a multitude of riders from all over the country but also over 250 vendors in which motorcyclists can preview all accessories and gadgets ever imaginable.
Lake George, NY Annual Summerfest (June 27 - 28): The Lake George annual Summerfest is known for it's variety in music, arts and crafts. It is a great way to experience all the beautiful wonders held in Shepard Park which is located in the beautiful village and bountiful waters of Lake George. This great event for families and couples is located in the heart of the village. Along with all the sidewalk merchant sales and activities found along the streets there can also be found the most popular free beach in Lake George called the Shepard's Park Beach. Shepard's Park has restrooms and is centrally located near all the village restaurants and shopping available for all ages.
