Bandstand and Dock
Not only this is a breathtaking view of the Hudson River, and a community gathering place for events and concerts, but it also the location of a scale model of the Parrott Gun, which was manufactured at the West Point Foundry in Cold Spring.

Water Activities: Main Beach and Ditch Plains are on the opposite side of the island and are also excellent places for swimming and sunbathing. Wildwood State Park offers 2 miles of beachfront on the northern portion of Long Island.
Dining: Long Island also harbors tons of restaurants, ranging from mom-and-pop pizza joints to fine dining establishments with world-class chefs. There's no need to wait to experience what most people consider the prettiest part of the island, the wine country, also known as the North Fork. Like most towns, Cold Spring has its pizza place, the Cold Spring Pizza & Deli, though you may also find it worth your while to trek up to Route 9D (Morris Ave.) to go to Angelina’s Restaurant & Pizzeria in the Foodtown plaza for some authentic Italian fare. For something inter-continental, step into Le Bouchon for some French cuisine, which can be enjoyed on the front porch or back garden during warmer months. For the most filling experience, try Cold Spring Depot restaurant at Depot Square next to the Metro North stop, sit fireside, feast on comfort food, and watch the trains go by.
Festivals and Events
Annual Cold Spring River Festival: The 2009 COLD SPRING RIVER FESTIVAL was held on Sunday, July 5th and was a huge success. It will be held next on Sunday, July 18, 2010.

Monthly Networking Event (Thursday, September 24, 2009): Monthly networking events provide a wonderful opportunity to introduce your business or organization to the community. Networking events are held monthly usually on the fourth Thursday of the month.
Cold Spring River Festival (June 14 2009) (Mayor’s Park, Cold Spring, New York).
